The Soldier

I painted this guy a few months back, and I thought he'd be a good start.

Done in Photoshop, using just an optical mouse.

I usually don't scan my pencil drawings, and color them later, but rather

use them as visual reference, and approach the painting directly.

It helps me keep the lines loose and jagged, and not worry too much

about "mistakes."
