This is an image I haven't been able to forget

for about an year now. We went to this

Native American Festival in San Juan Capistrano, CA,

and that was just one of the many mesmerizing visuals.

Finally managed to recreate it.

Saw these guys at a Bulgarian Wedding Music concert a couple of months back. It may seem funny, but..they rocked the house.

Never heard such powerful and vibrant jazz fusion in my life..

just rolling away.. Great character.

I saw this backdrop on my way to work one morning,

and painted it the same day. Later on I decided it needed something

in the foreground..

I painted this guy a few months back, and I thought he'd be a good start.

Done in Photoshop, using just an optical mouse.

I usually don't scan my pencil drawings, and color them later, but rather

use them as visual reference, and approach the painting directly.

It helps me keep the lines loose and jagged, and not worry too much

about "mistakes."
